From 27 April 2026, if the applicant is already in Poland, the application is filed via MOS only (mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl). Paper filing at the office is no longer accepted. If the relative is still abroad, some family applications can still be filed on paper — we will work out which path suits you.

Filing for a family-reunification residence permit in Poland
A reunification card is usually issued for a term close to the inviting person’s permit. You need to file in advance, before the current lawful stay ends.
We prepare the application, follow the review and, if the decision is positive, help you collect the card. After MOS checks the file the office summons you: fingerprints, a signature specimen and the original passport.

Conditions and documents for obtaining a residence card for reunification
We will take you through the steps — from checking the ground through to the card:
We will check the ground and assemble the pack: marriage or kinship, housing, funds, scans, a digital photo. We will connect MOS — Profil Zaufany or an electronic signature.
If you are in Poland — we will help file the application in MOS. Booking a paper filing appointment at the department is no longer possible.
We will accompany the appointment on the office’s summons: fingerprints, a signature specimen and the original passport.
We handle the case: the office’s requests, follow-up of documents through MOS or e-Doręczenia.
We will wait for the decision together with you. The term is often 3–9 months, depending on the voivodeship. If refused, we will say what to do next.
If the relative is still outside the EU and a visa is needed to enter, we will help with a national D visa for the family: the pack is filed in person at a consulate or a visa centre.
Separately: some family applications, when the applicant is not in Poland, are still accepted on paper under UDSC rules. We will look at your case so as not to send to MOS what it does not accept.
The documents must confirm marriage or kinship, housing and funds. A marriage certificate — with a sworn translation if it is not in Polish.

What does a residence card for family reunification give?
A reunification card gives the right to live in Poland with the family. Access to the labour market depends on the particular decision — we will explain what is stated in yours.
The ground is usually as follows:
- a family member lives in Poland lawfully;
- there is a marriage certificate or documents on kinship;
- the inviting person has a temporary residence permit, permanent residence, an EU resident card, a Blue Card, Polish citizenship or another permit with which the law allows reunification.
Who can obtain a residence card for reunification
We will help you see whether you qualify. Most often the applicant:
- is already in Poland (then filing through MOS) or still abroad (a D visa or a paper application — depending on the situation);
- is reuniting with a spouse, a parent or a child who has permanent residence, an EU resident card, a Blue Card, Polish citizenship or another suitable permit;
- can confirm housing and funds to support the family.
A family card can usually be obtained by:
- wives and husbands — if the marriage is recognised in Poland;
- minor children, including adopted children and the spouse’s children from a previous marriage, if the foreigner cares for them;
- in some cases — guardians of children with refugee status or subsidiary protection (the filing deadline is limited — we will check the dates).
