A family member of a Polish citizen and a family member of a foreigner with a card sit on different shelves of the law. Housing and the inviting person's income are almost always checked. Holiday photos are not proof of a marriage, but you cannot ignore a shared household either.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fecb95 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3fecb95\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">5. Karta Polaka and permanent residence by ancestry \u2014 two different paths<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6825497 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6825497\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/mialegal.pl\/en\/karta-polaka\/\">Karta Polaka<\/a> is not a residence permit in itself: consulate or voivode, an interview in Polish, not MOS. Then \u2014 <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/mialegal.pl\/en\/vng-karta-polaka\/\">permanent residence with Karta Polaka via MOS<\/a>, if you genuinely intend to live in Poland.<\/p><p>If you do not have Karta Polaka, but your ancestors have a link to Poland \u2014 <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/mialegal.pl\/en\/permanent-residence-roots\/\">permanent residence by origin<\/a>. A B1 language exam is usually not required for permanent residence by ancestry or with a Karta Polaka. It is, however, required for the EU long-term resident card and often for citizenship applications. Repatriation \u2014 a narrow statute, not a substitute for Karta Polaka<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d030bbd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d030bbd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A repatriation visa and accelerated citizenship are for a specific history of displacement and territories.
